Every room has a distinct personality, yet together they form a narrative of theatrical escapism. In the Drawing room, mid-century glamour is anchored by a mirrored bar and oversized capiz chandeliers. In the Tavern below, original brick vaults are reborn as a speakeasy-style bar layered with heritage fabric, Shaker panelling and a curated liquor display. The Brasserie brings a sense of lavish decadence, where distressed brickwork and bentwood chairs frame a central stage, live music and a glistening raw seafood bar.
Outside, the hidden Winter Garden is cloaked in palms and velvet – an all-year terrace reimagined from the building’s stables. By night, it becomes one of Mayfair’s most romantic enclaves.
From shellfish towers to martinis at midnight, The MAINE is designed for indulgence. STUDIO Shayne Brady’s interiors honour the townhouse’s historic bones while drawing guests into a world of modern mischief. The result is immersive, intoxicating and full of personality – just like London itself.
