The Savoy, The Strand, WC2R 0EZ, London

Scoff & The Florist is a charming streetscape inside one of London’s best-loved hotels.
At The Savoy, STUDIO Shayne Brady was invited to reimagine two retail destinations – Scoff, a dedicated scone shop, and The Florist, a boutique flower atelier – alongside the shared lounge-style seating that knits them together. The brief: create spaces that feel instinctively Savoy while offering their own pockets of personality, charm and everyday luxury.
Scoff captures the theatre of British indulgence with a playful yet refined sensibility.
Warm timber, glazed cabinetry and classic patisserie cues frame a display of freshly baked scones, while soft lighting and polished detailing give the space a considered elegance. It’s familiar, comforting, and subtly elevated – the perfect pause point for guests moving through the hotel.
The Florist takes a more romantic tone. Inspired by the delicacy of hand-tied bouquets, the design layers natural textures, soft colour and artisanal detailing. A bespoke counter anchors the space, surrounded by shelves that showcase curated seasonal stems and crafted arrangements. The atmosphere is calm, fragrant and quietly luxurious.

Between the two units, a small outdoor-inspired seating area offers guests a moment to linger – to enjoy a coffee and scone, or simply sit while their bouquet is assembled. Thoughtful planting, sculptural lounge chairs and gentle lighting create a pocket of stillness within the energy of the hotel’s promenade.

Together, these spaces extend The Savoy’s hospitality beyond dining and into the everyday.
A trio of experiences that feel intimate, crafted and unmistakably part of the hotel’s narrative.
