This is club culture reimagined. Brigadiers is a story told in layers, where every space serves a purpose, every surface evokes memory and the entire place hums with atmosphere, ritual and refined mischief.
At Brigadiers, STUDIO Shayne Brady created an immersive, high-spirited homage to Indian club culture, merging colonial nostalgia with contemporary flair. Inspired by the Sethi family’s military lineage, specifically their grandfather’s service in the 4th Gurkha Rifles, the design fuses the camaraderie of old-world taverns with the elegance of 1920s Art Deco.

From the moment guests arrive, every detail evokes narrative. The palette of brass accents and regimental reds echoes ceremonial Gurkha uniforms, while walls are adorned with custom rhino tiles, monkey-bust alabaster lights and heirlooms drawn from the family. A portrait of the original Brigadier presides over the main restaurant – a focal point of identity and memory.

The restaurant unfolds across multiple rooms, each defined by its own rhythm. The Billiards Room, with its full-sized table, whisky vending machine and Deco-inspired geometry, invites leisure and spectacle. The Tap Room offers standing-only revelry beneath stained glass and ribbed timber. The Pot Luck Room, a relaxed social conservatory, features self-pour beer taps and screens for live sport, enhancing Brigadiers’ communal spirit.
Private dining areas bring intimacy and layered detail: tobacco-stamp-inspired wallpaper, rich timber panelling and bespoke furnishings nod to an era of craftsmanship and curation.

Whether guests arrive for a business lunch, late-night whisky, or weekend billiards, the experience is always cinematic.
