A brasserie for the 21st century, daring, dynamic and utterly unique, Bob Bob Cité offers more than a dining experience, it’s a destination defined by drama, detail and a lasting impression.
Perched 10 floors above the City in the Leadenhall Building, Bob Bob Cité is the bold, younger sibling to the renowned Bob Bob Ricard in Soho. Conceived as a brasserie for this century, the brief from visionary restaurateur Leonid Shutov was clear: create something unforgettable – a restaurant that feels both eccentric and exacting, indulgent and impeccably executed. Think the Orient Express meets bullet trains.

STUDIO Shayne Brady’s response was a maximalist vision rooted in discipline. Inspired by aviation and futurism, the design reimagines the idea of luxury – layering mirrored steel with plush suede, bold reds with moody blues, and sharp geometry with theatrical detail. Every plane and panel is deliberate and nothing is left to chance.

The 11,050sq ft space comprises two main dining rooms, three private dining salons with personal anterooms for receptions, and an immersive wine and champagne room where guests can browse and select their bottles. Even the 13.5-metre bar, boldly recessed with no stools, is designed for impact.
This was a collaboration in its truest sense: a design process shaped by mutual trust, shared ambition and a desire to push the notion of good taste.

The result is a restaurant that has become part of the conversation – most notably awarded ‘Most Striking Interior Design’ at the 2019 London Restaurant Festival Awards.
